Current Skincare Favourites

I feel like locking myself in the bathroom these days. To me it is the best time to soak in the bath and beat January and February blues...
Today I wanted to share with you my current skincare favourites... I would like to know what is behind your bathroom cabinets too, so please share your experience :)

I have combination skin and struggle to stay matte all day. However, my skin can feel dry and dehydrated during the winter months.

I like effective, quality products and beautiful packing also helps to make a choice :)

For Facial Cleansing:

1. Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser with Cottonseed - Normal/Combination Skin - it feels like a mousse. Very refreshing and leaves my skin squeaky clean. I use my hands to massage it over the entire face (avoiding the eye contour area) and rinse with warm water.

2. Chanel Lotion Pureté Fresh - Matiffying Toner - I really love using this Chanel Toner and it is by far the best toner I have ever used. It helps me to stay matte and the packing is so stylish :)

3. Chanel Masque Déstressant Pureté - Purifying Cream Mask which I use once or twice a week for my Spa ritual experience at home. Oil absorbing formulas leaves my skin smooth and fresh. I apply it with hands and leave it for 10 min to do its magic. Rinse it with warm water afterwards.

For Facial Moisturising:

4. Clarins Truly Matte Pore Minimizing Serum - another life saver helps to minimise and tighten pores, also oil controlling. I am quite intrigued by serum products at the moment...

5. Chanel Pureté Idéale Mattifying Fluid - after long searches and researches this is my ideal moisturiser. It's light, not greasy, quickly sinks into the skin and improves my complexion.

6. Clarins Eye Contour Gel - this is my first eye contour cream. It claims to minimise dark circles but I like the hydrating feel after a long day. Also it keeps the eye make-up last longer.

7. Vaseline - well no one can beat the classic Vaseline for lips!

Have you ever tried these products? Let me know about your favourites and the exceptional experience. X
